Antrim Charters Homeschool Day Program
A Community approach to learning

Currently not available. We are working on creating the program start up. The following is a draft in progress. Registration will open once the start up program details have been finalized. Our first registration group will consist of 6 children between the ages of 8-15.

Program Overview

Antrim Charters is partnering with the Kaiten Mixed Martial Arts Academy to bring a premier homeschooling day program to Prince George. This program will supplement any homeschooling program by providing educational extensions for children to explore learning opportunities within our community. Mr. Cory Antrim, a teacher for over 11 years in Prince George will serve as the Educational Guide, Program Designer, and Bus Driver. Student Directed Time - Time where students can choose an activity of their choice. Examples: drawing, coloring, playing games, building centers, & other self directed student choice brain stimulating activities.
Teacher Directed Time - Time where students work on essential academic activities such as Reading, Writing, and Math (An individualized educational program for each student will be created in collaboration with parents)
Board Game Time - This time is for students to explore various board games that stimulate critical thinking. Games choices will evolve over time, so students can choose games that have relatively short play time, to games that may take multiple days to complete.
Bus Outing - Using our Antrim Charters 14 passenger mini bus, we will take daily trips to various parks, community centers, and other places within and around our community. Our bus will serve as an extension of the classroom that will allow students to learn in our community through interactive, real life experiences.
Weekly Guest Presenter - We will search for presenters each week to provide educational opportunities from community experts (If you would like to be a presenter, please contact me a coryantrim@gmail.com or phone me @ 250-301-6950)
